Stormtroopers

Medicom Toys from Japan make the best 12" figures to date. Due to their limited production quantity, prices for their products range around RM600 - RM700. Their prior brand was called Marmit, or so I heard and thus here's some pics of my assembled figures. Medicom has since re-issued a new and complete 12" version of the Stormtrooper. But for some reason, its just too small and the helmet seems too big. Anywayz, back to my Marmit Stormtroopers:-

Sold some stuff!

Yeah. Heard that right. Got on www.play.com.my to sell some of my own collectibles with much hesitation. But hey... I needed the cash. Here's what I sold :-

1. 18" Hellboy with Horns (Tower Records Exclusive) - RM290
2. 12" Hot Toys Devgru v2 - RM290
3. 12" Cy Girls Jin Roh (Black) - RM380
4. 12" x 2 Freddy vs Jason figures (Sideshow exclusive) - RM300
5. 12" Hot Toys 75th Army Regiment - RM250
6. 6" Juggernaut - RM70 (Pre-sales)
7. 12" U2 Pilot - RM120 (Pre-sales)

So all in all, about RM1.7k sales made! However, the profit margin was peanuts. Being a collector, making a profit ain't that important :P. But anywayz, cash was received... heheh.

Audit completed..

Indeed it is. After almost a year in PwC, it is time for my departure. Very sudden for certain, but expected nevertheless. It was during my Felda audit, and I must say that it was a surprise knowing that two of the most well known companies came a callin'. Funny that I also saw the share market report that day, and guess what.. Genting top loser... BAT top gainer. Mmmmmm...

Almost 3 years in E&Y and only a year later after PwC, I have finally approached the doorway to the commercial life all accounting graduates aim for (or so I think). Even more suprising is that it is still finance related. How odd.

Always an IT savvy person, numbers for me were never really appealing, with me barely doing justice in Physics and Calculas back in Sunway College days. But o' how lady luck has turned me away into the world of bean counting.

Last day in PwC.... but was it worth it? ... dunno la....

Had lunch with EX-EY

Went down to Ipoh today. Thought of visiting my peeps at EY during office hours. Irene was on leave that day and decided to colour her hair. Just so happen that Angeline knew where the saloon was and we were there to surprise her! :)

MMmmmmmmm...... Da Vinci.......
